The Bespoke WardrobeThe Bespoke Wardrobe has now become the destination of the stylish bride. Opened in August 2007, TBW, set in the delightful village of Danbury, offers brides-to-be and bridesmaids a positive bridal haven. Owners Mary and Regine have created the most beautiful boutique offering an exquisite collection of wedding gowns and accessories, including custom made shoes by Emmy and jewellery by Lucy Marshall. The boutique is now believed to have one of the best collections of bridal designers in the whole country, boasting seven of the worlds leading designers including Stewart Parvin, Sassi Holford, David Fielden, Sarah Arnett, Naomi Neoh, San Patrick and Claire Pettibone.

The Bespoke WardobeMary explains, "Our passion has always been to create the best bridal boutique in the UK. Regine and I are determined to give our brides-to-be the best of everything from the moment they pick up the ’phone to make their initial appointment. Five out of the seven designers we work with are based in the UK, making dresses that are hand made to order and exclusively produced, allowing us to offer our brides the opportunity to customise their gowns and make subtle changes to the design. Such alterations can create gowns that are suitable for ceremonies in castles, forests, beaches and gardens, in addition to the traditional church or hotel ballroom."

The Bespoke Wardrobe’s opening year saw them working with exclusive designer Stewart Parvin, who since 2000 has been designing some of the Queen's most favoured outfits. In the same year, Stewart received The Royal Warrant of Appointment to Her Majesty the Queen in recognition of his services.

A year on, TBW's fantastic reputation has travelled fast throughout the bridal industry and designers have been keen to have their collections within their store. In fact, Sassi Holford has just launched her 2009 collection with TBW and has also designed a one-off piece which is absolutely unique to Mary and Regine. "Sassi has created the most beautiful gown for us,” enthuses Regine. “It is made from the most exquisite damask silk with a fitted bodice and a cathedral length train and is a real show stopper. It is honestly absolutely stunning! We now have many pieces that are exclusive to our boutique, including the most beautiful collection by Naomi Neoh.”

The Bespoke Wardrobe are also thrilled to be launching a brand new collection from LA based designer Claire Pettibone. Pettibone's collection will only be available in five boutiques across the entire UK market, making her gowns very exclusive indeed. "We are thrilled to have been chosen to represent the Pettibone collection,” says Mary. “Claire's gowns have vintage quality, but the references are combined in a way that is truly modern. She uses subtle tints of champagne and antique lace to delicately illuminate the bride. Hand dyed silk chiffon roses, golden wisteria embroidered on silk tulle and antique Victorian laces all add to a timeless elegance.”

Brides-to-be are now travelling from all over the country to visit this exceptional bridal boutique, finding in Mary and Regine two of the most caring and passionate ladies in the industry. Any bride-to-be will have a fantastic experience at The Bespoke Wardrobe. “The excitement begins the moment they pick up the telephone and call us,” assures Regine.
