Whilst working for British Airways as longhaul cabin crew, I became very intrigued as to the number of my fellow crew members who were searching for love on various online dating sites, writes Melanie Whitten. I knew it was difficult to find and maintain relationships in my particular line of work, so I too was drawn to join an online dating club in search of my ideal man.

Random Stuff

We should remember the tremendous contribution of the Queen Mother to the war effort: as the BBC pointed out, she 'bravely remained in London beside her husband' during the war. This contrasts sharply with the actions of my grandfather who, on the declaration of war immediately left his wife and children and pissed off, first to France, then North Africa, Italy, France (again) and finally Germany. The shame will always be with us. George Nisbet.
