Dad of two, husband of one, living in Danbury, Chelmsford. Football mad (the mad bit being a supporter of West Ham) and working in London for an insurance company. Been writing in The Edge for a number of years covering a variety of topics and not afraid to offer my opinions (not always the most popular). I enjoy nights out, fancy lunches and spending time with friends and family. Not afraid to try new things in the name of journalism and have, as a result, become partial to the odd spray tan every now and then...although colonic irrigation not so much

Has anyone else out there fallen into the wormhole that is TikTok during lockdown? The social media app hosts short video clips from its users posting dance routines, challenges and jokes. If you haven’t had a look on there already then I would suggest that you don’t because the app is strangely addictive. It is a little snapshot into the lives of people during lockdown and what is keeping them busy at home. What is clear is that we are a bit of strange country…

  1. Great article mate, lots of chatter about Tik-Toc being bad for the kids, encouraging dangerous stunts and even suicide. Yeah agree leave it well alone!

  2. Yeah, but it’s GREAT to be strange/quirky, isn’t it?
That’s what I think us Brits are truly the best at.
    HUMOUR.
But the thought of actually seeking Tik Tok out (shudder)….oooh no.
That’d all be far too technical for me, lad.
